To minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19, Day 1 of all Reiki I certification classes will be online via Zoom web conferencing until further notice. Given that the day is focused on self-healing, there is no need to meet in person.
Reiki I Certification
Learn Reiki for healing yourself and others!
The Reiki I class includes multiple 10-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch break. This class will cover:
- what is Reiki and how it works.
- how and where Reiki can be used.
- a brief history of Reiki.
- the standard Reiki session hand positions for self-healing.
- the Japanese Technique Kenyoku for clearing one's energy field.
- the Reiki Ideals & the 3 Pillars of Reiki
- the Japanese technique Byosen Scanning
- the standard Reiki session hand positions for healing others
- Hayashi Healing Guide
- the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- creating a Reiki practice
Students will receive a 190-page manual prior to class and a First Degree Reiki certificate after completing the class.

Instructor
Kelly Nembhard is a Reiki Master Teacher in Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki. She received her Usui/Holy Fire® III and Karuna® Reiki from Bryce Goebel at A Reiki Place in Charlotte, NC. Kelly also received first and second degree Usui Shiki Ryoho training from Marcia Hebrank at One Light Center in Durham, NC.
