ICRT Animal Reiki II Certification

​​​Venue: Online by Zoom web conferencing; in person at the Animal Protection Society of Durham
​Registration Fee: $245 (deposit: $130 with the balance of $115 due upon arrival to class).
Prerequisite: Documentation of ICRT Animal Reiki I certification
Animal Reiki II is an 8-hour class that is taught online across two 4-hour days. During this class, we will cover:
  • Animal Reiki techniques for in-person and distant sessions, including the Whole Body Awareness Exercise, Divine Animal Circle Healing Technique, Healing Compassion Fatigue, and Animal Grief Healing Meditation.
  • balancing empathy and compassion, compassion fatigue and practitioner self-care, and end-of-life support, whether natural death or compassionate euthanasia.
  • how to give Reiki to many species of animals.
  • the ICRT Animal Reiki Code of Ethics and  the ICRT Animal Reiki Guiding Principles 
  • how to create a thriving Animal Reiki practice, including in the formal or professional environments of veterinary offices, zoos or wildlife rehab facilities, animal shelters, therapy animal organizations, animal sanctuaries, and ways you might use Reiki in these settings.

​On the second day, students will practice giving Reiki to dogs and cats at the Animal Protection Society of Durham in Durham, NC. As a thank you for allowing us to use their space and work with their animals, we ask that each student brings with them a donation of dog and cat food. Monetary donations are also welcome. Students will also receive the Animal Reiki II Attunement/Placement and a Second Degree Animal Reiki certificate.

Students must attend both days to receive their certificate.​​

This class will be taught online LIVE using Zoom video conferencing. The day before class is an optional 30-minute session for getting you comfortable with using Zoom!
